Transcription jobs require you to transcribe what you hear from audio recordings such as speeches, podcasts, dictation, and conference calls.
And while generally transcription doesn't require much in experience, if it's specialized like finance, medical, or legal, some would help.
Either way, the bottom line comes down to listening, typing speed, accuracy, and good command of the spoken language to succeed.

But while real-time captioning might appeal, your typing speed and access to the right equipment could hinder your chances of getting the job.
But on the other hand, offline captioning opens room for other opportunities if you have bilingual skills like Subtitling. Which is captioning but for audiences of another language.

Micro jobs or short tasks are simple jobs you can do online quickly and earn, albeit low.
