It doesn't matter what you're trying to accomplish in life. Having the right mindset is key to achieving the desired outcome.

And for any online endeavor is no different. And even more so if the pursuit is for money.

So many people who set about to make money online fail. And a big factor to this failure is the mindset they go into making this money with.

Their turnaround times vary so much and even worse no one can guarantee your earnings. And this is because individual efforts vary similarly.

But let's operate under the assumption of having a family who can't wait to feed (For this is the situation for many.)

Clicking cheap ads and typing 1,000's of captchas for next to nothing won't be the way to go.

So this means if making a sizeable income is your goal. You’ll have to find a better way to do it.

Even so, options will still be plenty.

So allow me to choose a few proven ones for you.

This one is dear to me. It's how I started out online. And got my first taste of that online money.

You see, so many bloggers and website owners need quality articles regularly for their blogs and websites.

And while not every one of them is averse to writing these articles, some are.

So if you're a skilled writer (or not even ????) you'll always find a place in this business. Assuming you can market yourself properly and negotiate competitive prices.

Again, if you find looking for clients on your own challenging, then you can always write for existing ones on websites like iWriter, TextBroker, Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer,.. etc.

But going this route means having to deal with unfavorable pays. Either way, they guarantee the money upon a customer's acceptance.

Remember, working for these websites carries with them pay cycles. This means you can get paid either weekly, biweekly, or monthly.

All it is really is selling something to someone for more than you're getting it for.

Obviously, at some point, you'll want to invest and make your website professional (self-hosted with a professional domain name and theme.)

This is fast growing to be a favorite of mine.

In simple terms, print on demand as the name suggests is the process of customizing white-label products with custom designs only after someone has placed an order.

The best thing about this is that the entry cost is zero and the upsides can be significant. This assumes you'll use already popular POD companies like RedBubble, TeePublic, and Society6.

And if ‘custom designs' are words that scare you because you aren't artistic, then worry not. I shared a simple way to make money on RedBubble without being artistic here.

All you have to do is upload a cool, funny, or a must-have design on your favorite POD company or all. Choose which products will bear your designs, adjust your prices if you have to and you're done.

After this, the only thing left will be to market your designs where your audience hangs out. Social Media Sites, Forums, Youtube,.. etc.

Same as affiliate marketing, this takes time to pick up, but with such a low entry business model. You owe it to yourself to try it.

Let's see the last step to making this online money thing work.

3. Use Stick-to-it-ive-ness.

Now according to the Cambridge dictionary. Stick-to-it-ive-ness is the ability and determination to continue doing something despite difficulties.

And to be honest with you. If you're trying to make money online with no money at all you'll need to be a stick-to-it-ive person.

The journey to online success can be lonely and a frustrating one. And without the ability and determination to persevere even when you aren't seeing immediate results, you won't make it.

And this is one of the big reasons why most fail where others have made it. Some stuck to their business model until it worked because maybe they didn't know any other way.

Maybe you're full of ideas, methods, tips, and tricks to be your own worst adviser.

You think with all those tricks, methods and what not, you'll hack your way into fast success than others.

But sometimes being a fool can help you to become a stick-to-it-ive person. And help you avoid all the shiny objects that come your way.

Knowing more sometimes can be bad. I can tell person A there's only one way to make money online, and it's affiliate marketing. If they heed the advice, their minds will conceive ways to not only make affiliate marketing work but also scale exponentially.

Person B knows there's affiliate marketing, print on demand, YouTube, blogging, freelancing, digital arbitrage, drop shipping, and what not. Chances are if there's a small hiccup, say no results for a while. They are more likely to bounce to another business model because they are spoilt for choice.

Unlike the one who told, there's only one way of doing things and it's this.

Here's the point. Choose one business model you like. And make it work first before thinking of bouncing to yet another business model.
